FAQLisbon is a city we have loved exploring and it reminds us a lot of our life and home in San Francisco - cable cars, steep hills, unique neighborhoods with character and culture, great restaurants and cafes, a famous orange bridge (25 de Abril Bridge) - with the added bonuses of fantastic sardines on toast and pastéis de nata. We love traveling together and can’t wait to go back and make some more amazing memories.

What will the weather be like?
June in Lisbon is one of the best times to visit. Warm, long, and sunny days, with comfortable breezy nights. Just like San Francisco, pack some light layers - but it will be much warmer than San Francisco in June.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
We are going to take advantage of the beautiful June weather in Lisbon and have our ceremony and reception outdoors, and the afterparty will be indoors.
What is an aparthotel?
Aparthotels combine the furnishings and appliances of apartments with services and amenities of hotels. They usually have a kitchen and washer/dryer, but do not usually come with daily cleaning. The amenities of a hotel (lobby, pool, restaurant) may or may not be available and depends on the aparthotel. Our block rate at the Locke de Santa Joana will include daily cleaning and breakfast, and the property does have a pool and several bars and restaurants on site.
